Another novel by Roeder. This book chronicles the lives of several teenage boys who work at an amusement park called Phantom World. There are several Hanson mentions in this book; one of them particularly positive.

Excerpt: "...my point is, Phantom and Hanson aren't true boybands because they don't get up and dance around to music written and played by someone else. That's probably why they're still around, and the Backstreet Boys, N'SYNC, and a whole lot of others are history. ...Hanson are serious musicans and will probably be around as long as they like, but boybands--here today and gone tomorrow."

...I daresay that Roeder is a Hanson fan. Great mention!

The author spent over 18 years gathering an extensive collection of late 20th century memorabilia to write this book. (Cool!) There are over 3,000 late 20th century pop culture references. The Hanson mention is funny to me because the author describes Hanson as "folksy." Folksy?! Hmm.
