Shortly after Hanson learned how to play instruments, they hit the studio and recorded enough material for a CD. This resulted in Hanson's second indepandant CD, MMMBop, which Hanson re-released in 1998 under the new name 3 Car Garage. Hanson re-released the recordings largely because of the fanbase demand. The album quickly sold over a million copies in the United States and received decent reviews from the press: Entertainment Weekly states that "...Garage makes for fascinating history," while Amazon.com says,"...these kids' Garage days are more proof that millions of fans aren't wrong."

	US - also Canada, UK, Australia, etc. # 314 558 399-2 Release Date: May 12, 1998 US retail version of 3CG. A limited edition came with a 10 minute-prepaid phonecard.
	Indonesia # 314-558-399-2 Very rare Indonesian release of 3 Car Garage. The front and back cover art is the same as the US release, although this release has "Manufactured in Indonesia for Indonesian Market Only" printed at the top on the back cover. The entire CD is bright orange - different from any other 3CG release. If you look closely at the CD, the Mercury diamond is all white - it doesn't say "Mercury" in it like it does on the back cover.
	Taiwan # 314 558 399-2 It's funny that the Taiwanese version has the exact same catalog number as the US version, but it's so incredibly different! The album comes in a cardboard slipcase with Taiwanese text on the front and back. The back cover is really cool because it has a collage of Hanson photos - no other release does this. Inside, the booklet and CD looks the same as the US, but there is a lot of bonus stuff inside: postcards, a Hanson symbol sticker, a mini-poster, and more! Very very cool release!
	Japan # PHCR-1628 Japanese version. Front and back cover art is enlarged compared to the US version. The "3 Car Garage" logo is different, as is the CD itself - it's white with "3 Car Garage" at the top and "HANSON" written down the side. The CD has a bonus message from Hanson after "With You In Your Dreams."

Japan - Promo

Rare promo Japanese version. Almost exactly the same as the retail CD (described below), but this has a promo sticker on the obi-strip and "SAMPLE" is written on the inner CD ring in bright pink text.
